Physical Penetration Testing
Simulate real-world threats to test your defenses and provide actionable insights to fortify your facilities while upholding the integrity of your community.
What Is Physical Penetration Testing?
Physical penetration testing—sometimes called physical pentesting—goes beyond reviewing your security policies and procedures. We actually attempt to breach your physical security the way a real attacker would. This gives you concrete, empirical evidence of what works and what doesn't in your actual facilities.
Unlike theoretical assessments, penetration testing reveals the gap between what you think your security posture is and what it actually is. We've found unlocked doors in buildings with state-of-the-art camera systems, tailgating through secured doors in facilities with expensive access control, and staff who would happily hold the door for anyone wearing a polo shirt and carrying a clipboard.
Testing Methods
Unauthorized Entry Attempts
We attempt to gain access to restricted areas of your facility using the same techniques a real intruder would use: testing locked doors, finding back entrances, exploiting gaps in coverage, and more.
Social Engineering Testing
We test your team's resistance to manipulation tactics—phone calls, in-person approaches, email phishing simulations—that many attackers use to bypass technical and physical controls.
Access Control Evaluation
We test whether your electronic access control systems actually work as intended: whether doors relock, whether tailgating is possible, whether access badges can be duplicated or borrowed.
Surveillance Blind Spot Identification
We map your camera coverage and identify areas where someone could move through your facility without being seen. We also test whether your monitoring is actually being watched.
Emergency Response Time Testing
We test how quickly your security team or staff can respond to a developing situation, and whether your communication systems work when you need them most.
Security Awareness Assessment
We observe how greeters, ushers, and staff interact with visitors and whether they notice and report unusual behavior. Often the human layer is the weakest—and most important—link.
Our Approach
Faith-Sensitive Methodology
Unlike generic penetration testing firms, we understand faith communities. We won't test your building during a service in a way that disrupts worship, and we won't approach your children in ways that feel threatening. Our testing is thorough but respectful.
Minimal Disruption
We coordinate with your leadership to schedule testing at appropriate times. Our goal is to find vulnerabilities, not to create chaos or panic among your congregation.
Comprehensive Documentation
Every finding is documented with photographs, timestamps, and detailed narratives. You'll know exactly what we did, how we succeeded (or didn't), and what it means for your security.
Respectful Engagement
We engage with your staff and volunteers professionally. If we're testing your greeters, we do so in a way that doesn't embarrass or humiliate them—we're here to help everyone improve.
