Jonathan's journey in security began with a simple recognition: the places where we worship, learn, and grow in faith are sacred spaces that deserve thoughtful protection. Over the past 15 years, he has designed security solutions for major institutions, implemented advanced protection systems, and led comprehensive assessments—all while maintaining a deep commitment to serving the body of Christ.
Based in central Ohio, Jonathan saw a unique need in the faith community. Too often, churches and Christian schools were forced to choose between remaining open and welcoming versus implementing necessary security measures. He founded Patton Security to bridge that gap—providing expert security guidance that honors both the practical needs and spiritual values of faith-based organizations.
Throughout his career, Jonathan discovered abundant security expertise available for banks, retail organizations, commercial enterprises, and other industries—but recognized a common frustration among ministries. Faith communities were often left to navigate security challenges on their own or work with secular consultants who didn't understand their unique mission and values. Patton Security bridges this gap by offering specialized security expertise specifically designed for faith-based organizations, combining professional competence with genuine understanding of ministry culture.
